Govindrao Munghate established a multi-purpose foundation named Dandakaranya Educational, Cultural Development and Research Institute.After researching the cultural and educational awareness of tribals, ashram schools were started for tribal boys and girls in tribal villages like Chandala and Murmadi. Colleges were started in remote talukas like Kurkheda.
